Let us tell you that 1.78 lakh people die every year in road accidents in the country. Is. 60 percent of these victims are in the age group of 18-34 years. If we talk about the state, then maximum road accidents happen in Uttar Pradesh. Delhi is at the top among the cities. According to the information, more than 23,000 people lost their lives in road accidents in Uttar Pradesh last year. This figure is 13.7 percent of the total deaths due to accidents. Whereas in Tamil Nadu, more than 18,000 people have died, which is 10.6 percent of the entire country. Whereas in Maharashtra this figure is more than 15,000 i.e. nine percent of the total deaths in the country, followed by Madhya Pradesh where more than 13,000 people have lost their lives, which is eight percent.
Delhi tops among the cities.
Apart from this, more than 1,400 people have died in road accidents in the capital Delhi, this figure is the highest in the case of the city. Bengaluru is at second place among cities with 915 deaths. In Jaipur, 850 deaths have been recorded due to road accidents.
